Iran Silk Road Tour

Iran’s central location played a critical role in trade between China and Europe. Traders forged a path across historic Persia, carrying with them trade goods in silk, wool, bronze, ceramics, dyestuffs, spices and more. Retrace their steps and discover how Iran’s legendary artists, weavers and poets spread their talents throughout the world.

Today, Iran has restored many of its caravansaries, the historic waystations where traders parked their camels and mules for the night. You can even spend a night in one of these boutique caravansaries—the first roadside motels of their day!
