Iran Nomads

Enjoy experiencing Iran nomad’s tour to meet Iranian nomads of Qashqai, Bakhtiari, Shahsevan, Kurd, Lor and Baluchi. Enjoy spending a few days in their tent and experience their lifestyle, hospitality and join them to make bread, weave Persian carpets, and take the goats and sheep out, milking the goat or cow for breakfast and to come together with other families and have a good time.

Warm and Cold seasons of Iran nomads tour

Warm seasons is approximately from May to October (arriving of the warm seasons can vary in different years for a couple of weeks). The route to meet the nomads in warm season is usually the colder areas of west and northwest of Iran.

Cold seasons is approximately from October to May (arriving of the cold seasons can vary in different years for a couple of weeks). The route to meet the nomads in cold season is usually the warmer areas of southwest and Persian gulf, some parts of west and northwest of Iran.

Day 1: Arriving Tehran, visiting Tehran

Visit the Archaeological Museum, National Jewels Museum and Golestan Palace museum and traditional bazaar, then transfer to the airport to fly to Shiraz (about an hour flight). Overnight Shiraz.

 

Day 02: Shiraz-Firuzabad

An Excursion to Firuzabad to visit world heritage Ardashir Palace, Dokhtar Castle, Qashqai Carpet Weaving. Overnight Tent

 

Day 03: Parishan Lake- Bishapur

Visit Khergheh Canyon, world heritage , Bishapur city, Anahita Temple, Tange Chogan huge rock Relives and Bishapur Cave. Overnight Tent

 

Day 04: KotalePirehzan- DashteBarm

Travel along with the tribes via Kotal-e Pireh Zan and Dashte Barm. Overnight Tent

 

Day 05: Kotale Dokhtar- Dasht Arjan

Visiting Kotale Dokhtar, Dasht Arjan nomad tribes.Overnight Shiraz

 

Day 06: Shiraz

In the morning visit Nasirol-Molk mosque (pink mosque), Narenjestan Garden and museum, the Shrine of Shah-Cheragh, the tombs of one of the great Persian poets called Hafez, then in the afternoon visit Vakil complex (Bazaar, Citadel and Bath). Overnight/ Shiraz

 

Day 07: Persepolis-Shiraz

An excursion to the UNESCOs word heritages of Persepolis and Necropolis (Naghsh-e-Rostam), then in the afternoon enjoy walking in another UNESCO Persian garden called Eram Garden. Overnight/ Shiraz

 

Day 08: Yasuj

Drive to Yasuj and on the way visit Dena mountainous area which is located north of Yasuj with many water springs and nice weather. Overnight Yasuj

 

Day 09: Yasouj – Shahrekord

Early in the morning drive to Shahrekord via Semirom. Overnight Shahrekord

 

Day 10: Shahrekord

Full day tour in the region to see Bakhtiari Nomads. Overnight Shahrekord

 

Day 11: Shahrekord – Isfahan

Drive to Isfahan and visit the Friday Mosque, Armenian cathedral (Vank Church) and the famous bridges of Isfahan. Overnight Isfahan

 

Day 12: Isfahan

Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Royal (Naghshe Jahan) Square: the second biggest square in the world including (Ali Qapu Palace, Imam Mosque, Sheikh-Lotfollah Mosque, Bazaar) and the visit Chehel sotun palace (40 pillars) and hasht behesht garden and palace. Overnight Isfahan.

Day 13: Abyaneh-Kashan

Drive to the ancient village of Abyaneh and the go to Kashan to see Fin Garden, the historical Houses of Tabatabaie, Broujerdi, and Agha Bozorg Mosque & School and traditional bazaar. Overnight Kashan

 

Day 14: Airport

Drive to the holy city of Qom to see the holy Shrine of Fatima and then to the International Airport for your departure flight.
