Day 1: Arriving Tehran, visiting Tehran
Arrive in Tehran airport, you will be meet and transferred to your hotel.
Our tour begins visiting the Archeological Museum, National Jewels Museum and world heritage Golestan palace and traditional bazaar. Overnight in Tehran
Day 2: Tehran
A morning visit to Carpet Museum, Sa’ad Abad Complex with 18 magnificent historical palaces (2 of which we will visit) and tajrish traditional bazaar. Overnight Tehran
Day 3 : Qazvin
Drive to Qazvin (Persian capital from 1524-76) and visit the Chhelsotoun and aliqapu palace, Chaharnabi shrine and traditional bazaar. Overnight Qazvin
Day 4 : masouleh
Drive to masouleh en rout visit the huge world heritage site of Soltaniye complex with the third biggest dome in the world from 13 century. Overnight masouleh
Day 5 : Sarein
Drive to Sarein to Relax and enjoy the natural spas and on the way visit the world heritage Complex of Sheikh Safi- eddin Ardebili that comprises of the mausoleums of Sheikh Safi and Shah Ismail, house of chinaware, a mosque, Jannat Sara and the house of Dervishes (Khānegāh),. Overnight Sarein
Day 6: Sareen-Kaleybar
Drive to Kaleybar, trekking in mountains of kaleybar and visiting Babak castle. Overnight Kaleybar.
Drive to Tabriz through the unique road near Aras river in the Border of Iran and Armenia, enroute visiting the world heritage churchs of saint stepanus and Choopan in Jolfa. Overnight Tabriz
Day 8 : Tabriz
Visit Azerbyejan museum, Kaboud mosque and the world heritage old bazaar of Tabriz. Overnight Tabriz
Day 9 : Orumiyeh
Drive to to Orumiyeh by the beautiful salty lake, en route visit Kandovan village with the people still living in the house dug in the mountain like Cappadocia, and visit Orumiyeh in the afternoon. Overnight Orumiyeh
Day 10 : Sanandaj
Drive to Sanandaj on the way visit the UNESCO world heritage site of Takht-e Soleyman, “The Throne of Solomon”, Sitting in a high mountains ringed by 1500-year-old fortress walls is the holiest spiritual center of Zoroastrianism and the former Sassanid Empire. Overnight Sanandaj
Day 11: Kermanshah
Drive to Kermanshah to visit Sassanian bas-reliefs at Taq-e Bostan a towering cliff inscribed with some extraordinary Sassanian bas-reliefs (Coronation of Khosrow II, Kings Shapour II, Shapour III and King Ardashir II trampling on the defeated Roman Emperor Julian the Apostate), Mo’aveolmolk Takiye with its amazing tile work and traditional bazaar. Day 12 : Hamedan
Drive to Hamedan via visiting the reliefs and Achaemenian inscriptions of Darius the great at UNESCO world heritage of Bisotun with western Iran pre-historic remains, and Anahita Temple at Kangavar, in the afternoon you can go to Ganjname inscriptions of Darius the great and Xerxes and waterfall. Overnight Hamadan
Day 13 : Hamedan
City tour of Hamedan to visit shrine of Esther & Mordecai, the most important Jewish pilgrimage site in Iran, the mausoleums of the philosopher/mathematician Ibn Sina (Avicenna), and Baba Taher, ancient city and ruins of Hegmatana (Ecbatana) and its museum and a christian church, then you can go to city center and the bazaar. Overnight Hamadan
Day 14: Shush
Drive to Shush en route visit the Sasanid falak-ol-aflak castle in Khoramabad. Overnight Shush
Day 15 : Ahvaz
Visit the three UNESCO world heritage sites of Shush; Iran’s most ancient city (Iranian Mesopotamia), palaces of Darius the Great and Artaxerxes, the Jewish prophet Daniel’s temple, then drive to magnificent brick Zigurat of Choghazanbil, and after that go to Shushtar to see Historical Hydraulic System of Shushtar from the Sassanian era with a complex irrigation system. Day 16: Shiraz
Drive to Shiraz while visiting world heritage Bishabour the grand capital of the Sassanian king, Shapour I, who defeated Romans. There you will see Palace of Shapour, Anahita’s water Temple and six large bas-reliefs commemorating Shapour’s investiture and victory over Roman invaders. Overnight Shiraz
Day 17: Shiraz
City tour of Shiraz to visit world heritage Eram Garden, Nasiro- Molk Mosque (pink mosque), Narenjestan palace and museum, tomb of great Persian poet Hafez , then in the afternoon visit Vakil complex (Bazaar, Citadel and Bath) and the Shrine of Shah-Cheragh. Overnight Shiraz
Day 18: Shiraz-Persepolis-Pasargad
An excursion to world heritages of Persepolis, Pasargad and Naghsh-e-Rostam (Necropolis) the rock reliefs and tombs of four of the Achemenid kings. Overnight Shiraz
Day 19: Fly to Qeshm
It is the biggest Island of Persian Gulf region located alongside the Strait of Hormoz, being 2.5 times larger than the second biggest Island of Persian Gulf, Bahrain. (120 kilometers long and between 10 to 35 kilometers wide and the highest altitude is 350 meters above the sea level. )
In Qeshm you will see Kharbas caves, Naz Island, Hangam Island, natural aquarium, dolphins, ChahKooh and Free time in shopping malls. Overnight Qeshm
Naz Island: Walk one kilometer deep into the shallow waters of the island where colorful shells and jellyfishes are waiting touch your feet.
Hangam Island: A live Island with very hardworking people where you can see the wonderful attractions such as Dolphins, Iranian Deer, silver beaches, the sunken Portuguese ship and local markets full of local sea foods, shells, etc.
Day 20: Qeshm
Visit Laft water reservoirs & wells, Star valley, Kharbas caves, Mangrove forests, the Portuguese castle, palm groves and ever-green orchards and forests covered with mangrove trees Overnight Qeshm.
Stars Valley: The erosion has made labyrinthine formation out of the hills. The locals believe this valley is the result of a meteor hitting the land.
Famous Hara forests ( Mangrove forests): Visit the famous Hara forests where the trees are grown in the salty water and get sunk in the water from tide.
Day 21: Hormoz- Shiraz
Visit Hormoz then fly to Shiraz. Overnight Shiraz.
Day 22: Kerman
Drive to Kerman, en-route visit the world heritage Sasan palace from 5century AD in Sarvestan. (571km) Overnight Kerman
Day 23: Mahan-Rayen-Shahdad
– An excursions to Mahan to visit the Prince Garden another UNESCO Persian garden, afterwards go to Rayen to visit Rayen citadel (a citadel like Bam citadel) from sassanid period 224-651 AD. , and then head to the UNESCO Shahdad desert with amazing sand dunes. Overnight Kerman
Day 24: Kerman-Zeinodin Caravanserai
– Visit Ganj-Ali Khan Complex (bath house, caravanserai and bazaar), then head to Zeinodin Caravanserai en-route you may also see the Pistachio gardens in Rafsanjan. Overnight/ Caravanserai
Day 25: Yazd
– Drive to Yazd to visit the Zoroastrian Towers of Silence, and the Zoroastrian Fire Temple, the UNESCO Dowlatabad Garden, Jame Mosque, walk in the UNESCO old town of Yazd, and then Amirchakhmaq square and traditional Iranian gym. Overnight Yazd
Day 26: Isfahan
Drive to Isfahan via old cloak weaving workshops and one of the oldest Friday (congregational) mosques in Naien. In Isfahan, We visit the Armenian cathedral (Vank Church) historical bridges of Khajou and the Sio se pol (33 bridges). Overnight Isfahan
Day 27: Isfahan
Visit the UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites of Naghshe Jahan Square: the second biggest square in the world including (Ali Qapu Palace, Imam/Royal Mosque, Sheikh-Lotfollah Mosque, and Bazaar) and then visit Chehel sotoun palace and garden and hasht behesht garden. Overnight Isfahan
Day 28: Abyaneh –Kashan- Tehran
After visiting Abyaneh village (with its intact architecture, old houses and wooden doors and meeting people with traditional and colorful costumes) , go to Kashan to see Fin Garden, Agha Bozorg Mosque & School and historical houses of Tabatabaie and Broojerdi.
You will be Transferred to Tehran Intl. IKA airport for your return flight.
