Tehran-Qazvin-Masouleh-Bandar-e Anzali–Ardabil-Sarein-Tabriz-Kandovan-Zanjan-Sanandaj-Kermanshah-Hamedan-Khoramabad-Shush-Ahvaz-Tehran

 

Day 1: Tehran

Visit Iran National museum, world heritage Golestan palace, traditional bazaar, National Jewels Museum and Carpet Museum. Overnight Tehran

 

Day 2: Qazvin

Drive to Qazvin. Visit Chehelsotoon palace, Jame mosque, Ali Qapoo palace, Traditional bazaar and caravanserai, Chahar Anbia shrine. Overnight Qazvin

 

Day 3: Masouleh

Drive to Masouleh to explore this unique stepped mountain village with  Courtyards of houses to be roofs of the up house, traditional bazaar and amazing architecture. Overnight Masouleh

 

Day 4: Bandar-e Anzali –Ardabi

Drive to Ardabil, on the way visit the biggest water swamp in Iran, Bandar-e Anzali. Then go to the Persian Caviar production center to how they make it. Overnight Ardabil

 

Day 5: Sarein

Ardebil visit the historic and picturesque world heritage tomb of the Sufi master named Shei Safi Ardabili, then drive to Sarein which is well-known for its spas on the slopes of the second highest mountain of Iran Sabalan (15817 ft / 4821 m) to enjoy the remedial benefits of the spas. Overnight Sarein

 

Day 6: Tabriz

You will visit Tabriz and see the impressive tomb of Shahriar, the most famous Persian and Azeri poet, visit the exotic traditional bazaar, the exquisite Jameh and Kabood Mosques, Azerbaijan and Constitution Revolution Museums. Overnight Tabriz

 

Day 7: TabrizKandovan

Drive to  Jolfa to see the world heritage Christian Churches of saint Stepanus and Choopan then drive to the ancient 3000 years ago volcanic village of Kandovan with a beautiful mountainous scenery and special architecture, houses carved in the rocks of mountains and people are still living there doing ranching, husbandry and gardening. Overnight Tabriz

 

Day 8: Zanjan

Drive to Zanjan. Visit the world heritage site of Gonbad-e Sultanieh as the third biggest dome structure in the world and the first biggest  mud brick dome in the world! Visit Zanjan Bazzar and enjoy having dinner in a traditional restaurant. Overnight Zanjan

 

Day 9: Sanandaj

Drive to Sanandaj on the way visit the UNESCO world heritage site of Takht-e Soleyman, “The Throne of Solomon”, sitting in a high mountains ringed by 1500-year-old fortress walls is a holy spiritual center of Zoroastrianism and the former Sassanid Empire, and its Anahita water temple and Azargashnasab fire temple. Overnight Sanandaj

 

Day 10: Kermanshah

In  the morning visit Vakil Almol, Khosro Abad and asef mansions, Sanandaj museum and historic Bazaar, then rive to Kermanshah. Overnight Kermanshah

 

Day 11: Kermanshah

Drive to Kermanshah to visit Sassanian bas-reliefs at Taq-e Bostan a cliff with some extraordinary Sassanian bas-reliefs (Coronation of Khosrow II, Kings Shapour II and Shapour III and King Ardashir II trampling on the defeated Roman Emperor Julian the Apostate), then drive to Hamedan en route visiting the UNESCO world heritage site of Bisotun containing reliefs and inscriptions of Darius the great and remains dating back to pre-historic and Pre-Islamic periods (from Achaemenids, Selucids, and Sassanids and also Ilkhanid and Safavi inscriptions and Caravanserai). Overnight Kermanshah

 

Day 12:  Hamedan

Visit ancient city and ruins of Hegmatana (Ecbatana) and its museum, the most important Jewish pilgrimage shrine of Esther & Mordecai in Iran, mausoleums of the philosopher/mathematician Ibn Sina (Avicenna), and Ganjname inscriptions of Darius the great and Xerxes. Overnight Hamadan

 

Day 13: Shush

Drive to Shush, onthe way visit the Sasanid falak-ol-aflak castle in Khoramabad. Overnight Shush

 

Day 14: Ahvaz-Tehran

Drive to Ahvaz via visiting the UNESCO world heritage ancient city of Shush or Susa (Iranian Mesopotamia) ,remainsof the palaces of Darius the Great and Artaxerxes, the Jewish prophet Daniel’s tomb, then drive to magnificent temple of Zigurat another UNESCO World Heritage site and after that go to world heritage Historical Hydraulic System of Shushtar from the Sassanian era with a complex irrigation system. Overnight Ahvaz

 

Day 15: Tehran

Fly to Tehran.Transfer to Tehran international airport for your return flight.
