Damavand Mountaineering Tour (NE Flank)-6days
Mount Damāvand, a significant mountain in Persian mythology and folklore, and a potentially active volcano, is the highest peak in Iran and the Middle East as well as the highest volcano in Asia, This peak is located in the middle of the Alborz range, near the southern coast of the Caspian Sea, about 70 kilometers northeast of the city of Tehran.

Enjoy climbing the highest peak in Iran (5610m) and the highest volcano in the Middle East. This mountain is located close to south of Caspian Sea and about 70 km away from Tehran. The main route for climbing Damavand Mountain is through Polour village.
Arriving Tehran, You will be transferred to hotel.
At seven a.m. leave Tehran to the village of Gazanak (109 km, 3 hours). Hop on a 4wd to go to Nandel village (2 hours). Stay overnight in the Climbing Federation camping in Nandel.
Day 3: Nandel
At 6 a.m. depart Nandel in a 4wd towards Gardaneh Sar region (2700 m). Start off our climb to reach Takht-e Fereidoun refuge at 4400 m (5 hours) where we will lodge in a camp. In the afternoon have a short acclimatization climb to 4700 heights and return to the refuge.
Day 4: Takht-e Fereidoun refuge
At 5 a.m. leave the refuge to climb to the summit. Then return to Takht-e Fereidoun refuge (4 hours).
Day 5: Abgarm
Head to GardanehSar (4 hours), have lunch in Nandel and go to the village of Abgarm with spas. Overnight Abgarm.
Day 6: Tehran
Today we drive back to Tehran.
